We will be holding a Charlie Company FRG Organizational Meeting on the last day of Annual Training, June 26th. We would like to coordinate it with the release time, so that Soldiers and their families can leave together. It will be held at the Towson Armory. Molly Cahill will be taking the lead on this event so if you have questions, suggestions or would like to volunteer to help with the meeting you may contact her by email or phone as listed on the contact page. There are many new soldiers in the company and new family members to get acquainted with. We look forward to seeing you all there!
As you know the company is busy preparing and training for their new mission next year in the Sinai Peninsula as part of the “Multinational Force and Observers” mission in the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt. This mission has been ongoing for more than thirty years. More information can be found on the official website of the MFO. The company has not received the official orders for this new mission but all indications are that it is a go. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
1st SGT Cahill and the company have produced a great new informational website on the AKO. This website is for the soldiers and families of the 1-175 C Co. You will need an AKO log on to view it and you can register for one at the AKO link on the right of this website. Non DOD employees will need a DOD employee sponsor to register (this can be your soldier husband, friend, brother, mother, etc.). The new AKO 1-175 Charlie website will have C Company information of a more confidential nature that won't be posted on this FRG site (ie. training schedules etc.). Click AKO 1-175 C to access the site.
The 1-175th Company C is now on Facebook! Join our group and start networking with other members of our family. Click the facebook logo to go to our page.
In preparation for the mission next year the 1-175 Family Readiness Group is scouting for more volunteers to help with company FRG communications, events and more. It's a great way to meet and network with other 1-175 Charlie Company soldiers, friends, and family. If you are interested, please contact Molly Cahill at: molly.g.cahill@us.army.mil.
